The meaning behind BTS Jungkook“Ian” by has been revealed.
The name “IAN” is known to ARMYs because it was the name of Jungkook’s (then) private TikTok account, and was also an option for a stage name.
Disney+ released the I AM STILL film and split it into three episodes, featuring never-before-seen footage and behind-the-scenes clips.

In the new docuseries, a segment follows Jungkook’s preparation for “Standing Next To You,” chatting with choreographer Ian Eastwood. The choreographer can’t stop praising Jungkook for his skills and approach to dance, and it’s heartwarming to hear how much people respect the idol.
When Jungkook steps off the stage, the idol explains: “I wanted to use Ian as my stage name because of him.”
The idol added: “Because I admired his dance moves then.”
It would be an honor for Jungkook to dance next to someone he respected and admired for so long.
