Following their recent contractual information, Entertainment cube revealed which one (G)I-DLE will officially enter the spotlight as the group’s next soloist.
The company confirmed this on December 3 Minnie will release his first solo album in January 2025, marking his debut as a solo artist since the group’s 2018 debut.
Minnie’s next album is already generating interest as fans are eager to see how she will showcase her individual artistry. She is said to have been deeply involved in the creative process, from song selection to setting the overall direction of the album, ensuring it reflected her personal style.
His solo debut comes on the heels of (G)I-DLE’s successful contract renewal with Cube Entertainment. The agency recently announced that all five members had extended their contracts and promised continued support to elevate the group’s brand and individual efforts.

This makes Minnie the fourth member of the group to debut solo after Soyeon, who released his first solo project in July 2021, Miyeon in April 2022 and Yuqi earlier this year, in April 2024. With the debut of Minnie Mouse, Shuhua he will remain the only member who has not yet released a solo album.
