The 2024 Billboard Music Awards included several familiar K-pop names on its list of nominees.

On November 25, Billboard officially announced the nominees for its highly anticipated 2024 Billboard Music Awards. In addition to international artists, the awards show included several names on the shortlist in its four new K-pop categories.

These categories include Best Global K-pop Artist, Best K-pop Album, Best Global K-pop Song, and Best Touring K-pop Artist. Starting with Top Global K-pop Artist, the category was occupied by Jungkook, Jimin, Stray Kids, TXT and ENHYPEN.

Meanwhile, the Top K-pop Album included the most successful K-pop releases. This included Jungkook’s “GOLDEN”, ​​ATEEZ’s “THE WORLD EP.FIN: WILL”, TXT’s “The Name Chapter: FREEFALL”, and Stray Kids’ “ROCK-STAR” and “ATE”.

In the Top Global K-pop Song category, the nominees are LE SSERAFIM’s “Perfect Night,” ILLIT’s “Magnetic,” Jimin’s “Who,” and Jungkook’s “Standing Next to You” and “3D (feat. Jack Harlow)” .

Best K-pop touring artist was claimed by K-pop groups ENHYPEN, SEVENTEEN and TXT. Additionally, Stray Kids received a nomination for Top/Duo Group outside of the four K-pop categories.

Jungkook’s single “Standing Next to You” was also nominated for best-selling song. BTS’s maknae also received a nomination for Best Artist in Song Sales.
