YG Entertainment has officially responded to reports of WINNER member Song Mino’s “poor” performance in his public service.

On December 17, the “Run away” singer faced a complaint from Dispatch, which contained a lengthy report detailing the idol’s inadequate performance of his service as a social worker at the Mapo Resident Convenience Facility.

In the report, Dispatch visited the facility on November 11, but was unable to find the idol at the workplace. Despite Dispatch’s returns on November 12, 13, 14, and 15, the outlet has yet to catch up with him.

Dispatch also made contact with Mino’s manager on site, who was listed as Manager “L.” This led to the newspaper investigating Mino’s daily working hours, which was eventually followed by the manager’s refusal to provide attendance records and CCTV footage on privacy grounds. Additionally, the idol’s sick leave and annual leave were also mentioned.

YG Entertainment became aware of the issue, prompting the agency to release a statement. “It is difficult to confirm the details of our artist’s public service,” the agency said.

“However, the reason for the sick leave is the extension of the treatment received before the start of service, and all other leaves have been used in accordance with the regulations.”

Mapo Residents’ Convenience Facility also shared that Wino has complied with the regulations in its service and will soon release another statement to clarify their opinion on the idol issue.
