Eli has officially announced his new marriage, sharing wedding photos and a heartfelt message with fans nearly five years after his divorce from ex-wife Ji Yeon-soo. On June 11, the U-KISS member took to social media to reveal the happy news, which marks the beginning of a new chapter in his life.
In addition to his wedding photos, Eli reflected on the challenges he’s faced in recent years. “The last five years have been some of the most difficult and transformative years of my life,” he wrote. “There have been many ups and downs, hard lessons to learn and opportunities for personal growth. There have also been moments that have changed the way I see life.” The singer explained that during that time he met a woman who brought understanding, happiness and peace into his life.
Eli credited his future wife with helping him get through some of his toughest times. According to his message, her patience and support helped him overcome difficulties, making life’s happiest moments even more meaningful. “I am happy to share that I have found the person I want to spend the rest of my life with,” Eli wrote. “I feel incredibly fortunate to begin this new chapter together and am excited about the future that lies ahead.”

In 2014, he married Ji Yeon-soo, a former running model and TV personality who is 11 years his senior. The couple welcomed a child during their marriage. However, the couple divorced in 2020 after six years of marriage. Their relationship later attracted public attention when they appeared together on the television reality show Chosun We divorced 2 in 2022, where they discussed their past relationship and co-parenting journey.
After leaving U-KISS in 2019 following the expiration of his contract, Eli reunited with the group in 2023. Since returning, he has continued activities with the veteran K-pop group while also pursuing individual projects.
