The American streamer and influencer recently released a Korean-language song titled S사랑해 Saranghae (I Love You) on May 18. The song quickly gained popularity online due to its K-pop-inspired sound, sleek visuals, and unusual crossover appeal.
In a short period, the release generated a huge discussion on social media platforms, especially after the song started to climb the iTunes charts in the United States.
Trisha Paytas first rose to fame as a YouTuber and online content creator in Los Angeles after launching her channel in 2007. Over the years, she has built a large following through controversial content, outspoken opinions, and viral moments on the Internet.

Despite the backlash, interest around her K-pop debut continued to grow. According to the latest updates, S사랑해 Saranghae (I Love You) has reportedly risen to No. 2 on the US iTunes “Top K-Pop” chart, ranking behind Demon Hunters’ Golden.
Trisha Paytas has also stated that she plans to release more Korean-language music in the future, suggesting that her entry into the K-pop industry could continue to generate both curiosity and controversy online.
