According to discussions circulating in Taiwanese online communities on July 15, Tzuyu may launch her independent career through an entertainment company reportedly founded by her parents. The claims spread quickly among fans in Taiwan and South Korea, leading to speculation that the singer’s decision to leave JYP was part of a larger plan to expand her activities in her home country.
However, these reports remain unverified. Neither Tzuyu nor JYP Entertainment have commented on the rumors surrounding the alleged family-run agency.
Previous reports stated that Tzuyu and JYP Entertainment had mutually agreed not to renew her exclusive contract. Despite the reported departure, she is expected to remain a member of TWICE, with future group promotions continuing as planned while her solo career is handled separately.
