Based on a Naver webtoon of the same name serialized from 2019 to 2021, Your goal tells the story of a man wrongly accused of murder and imprisoned for 17 years before being released. Although classified as a revenge thriller, the film focuses on the people involved in the revenge and explores themes of vigilante justice.
The original webtoon received critical acclaim for its depth and storytelling.
