Sasaeng fans continue to be one of the darkest realities that many K-pop idols face behind the scenes. From invasion of privacy to stalking and harassment, numerous celebrities have already spoken out about the scary situations they’ve experienced due to obsessive fans.
Recently, Yuta opened up about his disturbing encounters with sasaengs during an appearance on the Urban Legend Wide Show Season 3 of the Naokiman Show.
During the conversation, the NCT member discussed how the group has dealt with stalking fans over the years and revealed several disturbing incidents involving his personal life.
Yuta explained that some sasaeng had somehow managed to obtain his private phone number. Even after editing it, he said some people were still able to contact him. According to the idol, a sasaeng even texted him asking why he changed his number.
However, one particular incident reportedly crossed the line even further.
Yuta shared that a sasaeng once sent him a completely naked photo via text messages. Along with the explicit image, the individual allegedly wrote, “I’m ready whenever you are.”

The shocking revelation quickly sparked reactions online, with many fans condemning the behavior and calling it a clear form of harassment. Many have also expressed concern about the ease with which sasaengs continue to have access to idols’ personal information despite increasing security measures in the entertainment industry.
Sasaeng culture has remained a serious problem in K-pop for years, with many idols previously revealing that they were followed, secretly photographed, illegally contacted or even forced to move due to persistent stalkers. Yuta’s latest story once again highlighted the extreme invasions of privacy that celebrities continue to endure.
