The first episode of tvN’s GBRB: Farming Operation – Go Go Farm aired on June 19, featuring Lee Kwang-soo, Kim Woo-bin, and Doh Kyung-soo taking on the challenge of raising cattle on Jeju Island.
The three stars arrived at the ranch imagining green pastures and adorable calves, only to be confronted with a much harsher reality.
Their first task involved cleaning and tidying up a cattle shed, which meant dismantling and removing hardened cow manure from the floor.
As they stepped through the manure, the cast members grimaced and commented: “Is this really manure? The sensation is so strange.” Doh Kyung-soo jokingly expressed his frustration, saying: “Wasn’t our show supposed to be about food? Are we really going to spend the whole day cleaning manure?”
As he worked, Lee Kwang-soo, known for having a weak stomach, shook his head repeatedly and appeared overwhelmed. He confessed, “It’s a smell I’ve never smelled in my life. Viewers won’t understand unless they come here in person.”
His irritation grew when he noticed the production staff trampling on the manure piles they had already cleaned. “If they’re going to build up again anyway, why are we cleaning it?” he exclaimed, making everyone around him laugh.
The situation became even more chaotic when Doh Kyung-soo unexpectedly threw a piece of manure towards Kim Woo-bin.
“My zipper is covered in manure,” Kim Woo-bin moaned as he cleaned his clothes. He jokingly looked at Doh Kyung-soo and said: “I’ll let it slide this time,” creating another hilarious moment.
After finally completing the grueling task, the three gathered for dinner. As everyone settled into their seats, Lee Kwang-soo hesitated before deciding to share something that had happened earlier.
“I wasn’t sure whether to tell this story or not,” he began. “I almost fainted while peeing a while ago. I had to hold on to the wall. I don’t know if it’s some kind of manure poisoning or what.”
His unexpected confession made the studio burst into laughter.
Still laughing, producer Na Young-seok suddenly turned to Doh Kyung-soo and asked: “By the way, did you wash your hands too?”
To everyone’s shock, Doh Kyung-soo replied: “I don’t think I did.”
When the producer told him immediately, “Go wash your hands now”, Doh Kyung-soo ran towards the bathroom.
Despite all the difficulties and accidents, the cast eventually managed to clear the muck. Their exhausted and completely drained expressions afterwards provided viewers with some of the episode’s funniest moments.
