Singer Kang Won-rae, a member of the iconic duo Clon, will share a deeply emotional personal story on Radio KBS1the program of “All the information in the world with Yoon In-gu.”
During the broadcast, Kang Won-rae reflects on his life journey, including his long recovery after a life-changing accident in 2000 and his return to radio as a longtime DJ.
One of the most emotional moments of the episode is Kang Won-rae’s account of her recent reunion with Koo Jun-yup in Taiwan.
According to Kang Won-rae, Koo Jun-yup went out of her way to support him during a visit to Jinbaoshan Mausoleum, where the resting place of the late Barbie Hsu is located.
Although the site was inaccessible to wheelchairs, Koo Jun-yup reportedly carried Kang Won-rae who weighs about 78kg so he could personally pay his respects at the memorial.
The moment garnered attention for highlighting their longtime friendship and emotional bond.
Kang Won-rae and Koo Jun-yup’s reunion in Taiwan has been described as a powerful reminder of loyalty and compassion.

Kang Won-rae, who continues to use a wheelchair after the accident, has often spoken about overcoming adversity with the support of his family, including his wife Kim Song, who has cared for him for more than a decade.
Aside from entertainment, Kang Won-rae has also been active in social issues, including disability rights and accessibility awareness.
He recently completed a doctoral thesis focused on improvements in the K-pop internship system, offering insights based on his experience as part of the first generation of the Korea Wave.
