KATSEYE fans continue to discuss the group’s recent comments about member Manon as questions about her hiatus remain unanswered.
The discussion grew after KATSEYE appeared in new content for Allure Magazine, including a print interview and a YouTube video.
As the group answered lighthearted questions during a nail session video, some viewers believed some comments may have indirectly referenced Manon, leading to further speculation online.
At one point in the video, member Lara was asked if the phrase “little red Victorian girl” still meant anything to her.
According to Koreaboo, Lara responded that she now represents “kindness and good vibes,” while Daniela could be heard in the background saying, “it doesn’t” mean anything anymore.
While many fans saw the exchange as harmless, others described the moment as uncomfortable and began linking it to Manon’s absence from the group’s activities. The conversation got even bigger after Sophia’s comments in the Allure print interview began circulating online.

Directly addressing Manon’s hiatus, Sophia said, “Because we announced that this is about her well-being, it’s not our job or anyone else’s job to rush her. We want to give her all the time she needs, all the space she needs.” He added: “We don’t want to make assumptions, set anything in stone… He really deserves it and the door is always open.”
Sophia’s words quickly divided fans. Some interpreted his statement as evidence that the group may have been engaged in what they believe was a forced hiatus. Others strongly disagreed and instead blamed HYBE and Geffen, stating that members were likely repeating management’s carefully prepared talking points.
Since Manon’s hiatus was announced, fans have been poring over the group’s public interactions, interviews, and social media activity.
