More than a decade after capturing the hearts of K-pop fans, IOI has once again proven its unrivaled influence on the Korean music scene.
Just 10 days after their highly anticipated return, the group’s latest title track, Suddenly, achieved a Realtime All-Kill (RAK) by reaching No. 1 on every major real-time music chart tracked by iChart. This achievement marks the group’s third RAK, following the success of their iconic hits Very Very Very and Downpour.
The chart-topping performance drew enthusiastic reactions from fans and the general public. Since its release, “Suddenly” has received widespread praise on social media, with discussions of the song, live performances and charts consistently trending online.
Written by member Jeon Somi, “Suddenly” is a synth-pop track that combines a modern yet understated sound with heartfelt lyrics that reflect the group’s long-awaited reunion. The song resonates deeply with listeners by revisiting cherished memories and conveying the emotional bond shared between the members and their fans.
Many listeners have described the lyrics as “poetic,” highlighting the maturity and emotional depth shown by the members. No longer the young apprentices who first gained fame Produce 101IOI members return as seasoned artists reflecting on their journeys, challenges and treasured memories over the past decade.
The group’s promotional appearances on music programs also received huge support. Fans praised the members’ confidence, stage presence and chemistry, noting that the legendary lineup still possesses the star power that once dominated K-pop in 2016 and 2017.

Adding to the significance of the achievement, “Suddenly” earned its RAK on the same day that IOI held its 10th anniversary concert in Seoul as part of the group’s IOI Concert Tour: LOOP. After stops in South Korea, Thailand and Hong Kong, the members are expected to return to their individual careers.
With “Suddenly” proving to be both a commercial and emotional success, many fans hope that the reunion won’t be the last and that IOI will continue to reunite for future projects.
