Hwasa Performs Despite Knee Injury at PSY’s ‘Summer Swag 2026,’ Says She ‘Had to Hold Back Tears’

On June 27, Hwasa took the stage as a special guest during the opening stage of Summer Swag 2026, held at Uijeongbu Sports Complex in Gyeonggi Province.

The singer energized the audience with the performance of her hit songs, including “Twit” and “Good Goodbye.” During the show, she appeared to have suffered a scraped knee, with blood visibly running down her leg. Despite the injury, Hwasa continued to perform without stopping, earning huge applause and admiration from the audience for his dedication.

After the concert, Hwasa shared a message on social media, posting, “I had a hard time holding back the tears,” along with photos and videos from the event. She also expressed her gratitude for the audience’s passionate singing and overwhelming support, saying their energy left a lasting impression on her.

Meanwhile, PSY’s Summer Swag 2026 kicked off in Uijeongbu before continuing its nationwide tour. The concert series will hit nine cities in South Korea, including Daegu, Incheon, Seoul Grand Park, Wonju, Suwon, Gwangju, Busan and Daejeon, with a total of 14 shows scheduled during the tour.
