BLACKPINK member Lisa has become the center of fresh breakup speculation following the publication of her Vanity Fair interview on June 23.
Social media posts claimed that Lisa had indirectly confirmed the end of her alleged relationship with TAG Heuer CEO Frédéric Arnault, saying: “My past relationship is over.” However, that statement does not appear in the published interview.
Vanity Fair instead explained that Lisa’s publicist twice warned the interviewer not to ask questions about her personal life. The article clearly stated that Lisa had not discussed the topic.
The magazine only mentioned that Lisa and Frédéric had been rumored to be dating since mid-2023 and appeared to have separated. She cited the businessman’s absence from Lisa’s birthday celebration as a detail noticed by fans, but did not confirm a breakup.
Lisa also avoided talking about romantic relationships when asked about her personal life, choosing instead to talk about her early experiences with obsessive fans.
Lisa and Frédéric were first linked in July 2023 after being filmed together at a restaurant in France. They were later spotted together in different countries and were reportedly introduced to each other’s families. Speculation about a possible split grew after Frédéric stopped engaging with Lisa’s social media posts. Reports also stated that they had not been publicly seen together in over a year.
