BIGBANG’s Daesung and KARA’s Hur Youngji became the center of attention after fans noticed their close interaction during a MAMAMOO concert in Seoul. The two idols were spotted at the third night of MAMAMOO’s Award World Tour on June 21.
While several celebrities, including TWICE’s Jeongyeon and Jihyo, BTOB’s Changsub, and MONSTA X’s Hyungwon, were spotted at the event, Daesung and Youngji’s moment together quickly caught fans’ attention.
According to Koreaboo, Daesung attended the concert after recently appearing with MAMAMOO on his variety show, “Zip Daesung.” Youngji, who also appeared on the show, was seated next to him during the show.
Before the concert started, fans noticed Daesung and Youngji looking at their phone together. Their pleasant interaction led many fans to joke that the two appeared to be on a date.
Others recalled an earlier comment from BIGBANG member Taeyang, who said the pair could “get along” after Youngji’s appearance on Daesung’s show.
Daesung and Youngji attract fans’ attention
Although neither Daesung nor Youngji confirmed any romantic relationship, the small moment was enough to create excitement among fans who enjoyed seeing their friendly chemistry.
The attention comes at an important time for Daesung, as BIGBANG prepares for a big return to the stage. The group has announced a 31-date world stadium tour to celebrate its 20th anniversary. The upcoming tour will bring together G-DRAGON, TAEYANG and DAESUNG for BIGBANG’s first major tour since 2017, Billboard reported.
The group will begin the journey in August with shows at Goyang Stadium before traveling across the United States, Europe, Asia and Australia.
The tour follows BIGBANG’s appearance at the 2026 Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival, marking another major step for the legendary K-pop group. Fans have been waiting for the trio’s return, especially after years of changes in the group’s activities.
BIGBANG first debuted in 2006 and have become one of the most influential groups in K-pop history.
Meanwhile, Daesung has continued to connect with fans through music and entertainment projects. His recent interactions with Youngji through “Zip Daesung” have also introduced fans to the singer’s lighter side.
