The musical brother duo AKMU has become the protagonist of the cover of the June issue of Arena Homme+.
For the cover image created in collaboration with luxury watch and jewelry brand Cartier, AKMU showcased passionate energy through vibrant primary colors and bold patterns. After completing their unique narrative through music and albums, the duo has created another story through this latest photoshoot.
During the accompanying interview, Lee Chan Hyuk and Lee Su Hyun shared their thoughts on their latest album, which received strong positive reactions.

Lee Chan Hyuk said: “I think everything went perfectly, even from the audience’s point of view. It would have been enough if only we ourselves could enjoy the flowering of AKMU, but the fact that people also found our growth convincing and were even moved by the album is both surprising and something I’m grateful for.”

Lee Su Hyun added, “I had so much fun. I feel like it was the first time I sang songs in full which I really appreciate with all my energy on stage.”

The two also spoke about their relationship as brothers and teammates.
Lee Chan Hyuk explained: “Interestingly, our personalities are completely opposite. It really seems like a puzzle. What I lack, Su Hyun has, and what Su Hyun lacks, I have.”
Lee Su Hyun then shared his honest thoughts on maintaining the team’s dynamic, saying: “The moment we get jealous of each other, the team ends. No matter how hard my brother tries, he can’t sing like me, and no matter how hard I try, I can’t create music like him. We deeply respect the areas where we can never replace each other.”
