Yonhap News reported that on November 13, 2024, New Jeans has issued a content certificate to I LOVE IT. The document stated that if the company did not meet their demands, the group would terminate the exclusive contract.
Industry sources revealed that NewJeans sent the certificate using their legal names – Kim Minji, Hanni Pham, Danielle Marsh, Kang Haerin and Lee Hyein – and asked ADOR to respond to their claims, based on alleged violations of their contract exclusive. ADOR had 14 days to resolve the matter after receiving the document.
ADOR has since responded to the news. A company official released a statement to JoyNews24 on the evening of November 13, 2024.
We have nothing to say, as we have yet to receive the content certificate sent by NewJeans.
