The Czennies defend NCT Dream Renjun from K-Netz by mocking his pictures after the break

After returning to the music scene after a six-month hiatus, NCT Dream Renjun received negative comments about his appearance, which NCTzens immediately counterattacked.

On November 11, an Internet user surprised the Nate online community after seeing Renjun’s recent status. The original author wrote:

“What happened to NCT Renjun?”

Here, the OP expressed how they were surprised by the drastic change in the idol’s overall appearance. In the photos shared, Renjun looks “older” and “puffy,” a far cry from his youthful, skinny look when he debuted.

After posting, it quickly gained attention on the forum and now has over 127,000 views. He particularly attracted trolls and left demeaning comments, accusing him of having undergone plastic surgery. Here are some of the comments:

• “SM is a veritable hell of plastic surgery. Is the company forcing people to undergo more plastic surgery? It’s not about (Renjun), but there are many who have gone too far, regardless of their seniority. Even if you look at them, they are all cute and beautiful, but they look unnatural because of plastic surgery.”
• “Why did you have surgery?”

With the amount of hate he is receiving for not being able to manage his weight and image, Czennies (fandom) jumped to Renjun’s defense and criticized how K-Netz is so insensitive, as Renjun he recovered and returned to work only last month after half a year off due to health problems.

Before his hiatus, the male idol appeared aware of the backlash he was receiving for his swollen face, bowing his head to reporters taking his photos.

NCTzens were frustrated that the plastic surgery allegations would increase the pressure and stress he feels, which could also affect his self-esteem.

Those supporting Renjun also debunked claims that he has undergone surgery, insisting that while he looks the same, he also looks slightly different due to swelling, a possible side effect of the medications he is taking.
