Congratulations on their anniversary!
For K-Pop groups, anniversaries can mark a huge achievement, especially when numbers increase.
Only 8 K-Pop groups that debuted seven years ago have not disbanded
These accomplishments are particularly impressive for groups owned by smaller companies that don’t have as many opportunities and advantages as those owned by larger companies.
Recently, a “nugu” group under a small company reached its sixth anniversary and has become a hot topic.
In 2018 it was rumored like this iDo KOREA she would debut with a girl group, then provisionally called iMe Girls.
It turned out that the real name of the group was Dream note in July 2018. DreamNote made its official debut in November of the same year with Dreamlike.
The following year the group saw a lineup change when Habin and Hanbyeol left. 2020 saw the group turn to Makestar for funding for their third single album Dream desire. Both the album and the group’s promotions were financed through these efforts.
Subsequently, the group’s promotions slowed, with the release of two more single albums in 2021 and 2023.
In October 2024, the group released its first Japanese single album, with a Korean version released on the 23rd. November 7, 2024 marked the group’s sixth anniversary since debut.
Many marveled at a “nugu” group lasting so long and celebrated the occasion.
