The Ahgas were overjoyed when Jinyoung finally completed his military service. When the idol was discharged, he shared his plans on an upcoming drama and album with GOT7.

On November 7, Jinyoung was officially discharged. According to posts shared on X (formerly Twitter), Jinyoung was shown posing for the cameras with a smile.

Jinyoung also received a warm welcome from GOT7 bandmates BamBam and Yugyeom, who both ran towards the idol for a hug.

Jinyoung also provided an update on his efforts. The idol shared that the tvN series “Unknown Seoul” will begin filming in the next two weeks. The series will also include actress Park Bo Young in the cast.

Furthermore, he also confirmed that he will work with GOT7 members for their new album.

Early on May 8, 2023, BH Entertainment shared that Jinyoung has now enlisted in the military. The photo showed Jinyoung with his hair cropped while holding out a peace sign.

The agency shared, “Actor Park Jinyoung enlisted today. Please give your support and encouragement until the day he returns from duty.”
