In his music, the lyrics address topics related to toxic relationships, such as missing warning signs and more. Rosé reveals that she is relatable to the listener.
I think I’m pretty grateful to have experienced some relationships, you know, as a normal twenty-year-old girl. I want people to understand that I’m not much different than your average girl, or a 23-year-old girl.

I’m probably very recognizable if you listen to my songs and if anyone has been in this type of relationship. It doesn’t even have to be about a boyfriend, just any kind of toxic relationship will do.

She also revealed how she captured the raw emotion of being in her twenties, making her relatable to fans her age.
