In the entertainment industry, new series are released monthly, some of which get better reactions than others.
Recently, the C-Drama series Fangs of Fortune debuted with unexpected ratings.
Fangs of Fortune tells the story of a kingdom that must be overrun by demons following the death of its ruling goddess and a team of demon hunters brought together by a demon to restore order.
During the Zhenyuan Era, the accidental death of the goddess Bai Ze, who ruled both the human and demonic realms, leads to chaos as demonic beasts run rampant. Disguised as Zhao Yuanzhou, demon leader Zhu Yan offers to form a demon hunting bureau to help restore order.
Wen Xiao, suspicious of Zhao Yuanzhou, joins the office along with her childhood friend Zhuo Yichen, the skilled archer Pei Sijing, and the talented but shy doctor Bai Jiu. Together, they face the creatures of “The Classic of Mountains and Sea” and discover the darkest truths behind the chaos.

The cast includes the ex WJSN‘S Chen Xiao AS Wen Xiao AND PENTAGON‘S Burning AS Li Mon.
Fangs of Fortune it premiered on October 26, with three episodes released that day.
A few days later, the series already had a score of 4.9 out of ten on the Chinese site Doubanwhich has been compared to the Western site Rotten tomatoes. The site allows users to rate media, including television series.
Netizens also shared their complaints about the series, with some even saying it was “unwatchable.”

On the other hand, many have reported enjoying the program so far, praising the visuals of the scenes and the plot.

I watched the first 11 episodes of #FortuneFangs AND LOVED IT. I started watching it because the trailer looked great, but the humor, cinematography, and acting are top notch.
