In a recent Weverse live session, &TEAM members were asked to “write their wishes using a designated hashtag.” The hashtag they used, “#We_are_ONETEAM”, closely resembles EXO’s slogan.
Additionally, the OP noted that &TEAM’s Weverse page features the slogan “We Are One Team,” further fueling the impersonation claims.
The discussion continued as netizens highlighted the similarities between &TEAM’s comeback outfits, choreography and their use of silhouette formations, drawing further comparisons to EXO.
Previously, on May 27, a topic titled “Two groups of kids with strong similarities” was posted on the Korean forum “theqoo,” garnering nearly 50,000 views and 600 comments in just a few hours.
According to the topic, the concepts used by boy group HYBE &TEAM have strong similarities with those used by EXO, including American football outfits, tree-shaped choreography and many other similar features.
Seeing the various screenshots comparing &TEAM and EXO, many netizens seem to agree, even mentioning past incidents of HYBE’s plagiarism. However, some still defend &TEAM and call the accusation “far-fetched.”
