Singer roasts scammers while showing support for Gaza

If you’re part of a fandom and use social media, you’ve probably, at some point, received an unexpected message from an account claiming to be one of your favorite artists. They may initially thank you for being a loyal and devoted fan before making a request.

Former DAY6 member Jae (also known as eaJ) shocked his fans when he uploaded a post via X (formerly Twitter) that looked a lot like these scams. He warned fans that if he ever asked for money, he would only want them to donate via the attached link.

If you click on the link, you will be taken to a website where you can donate to help people in Gaza access the internet via eSIM.

Initially, fans thought that eaJ was simply mocking the scammers who attempted to impersonate him. However, they realized that he was simply trying to click them for a worthy cause.
