K-Pop is very diverse. Among a host of talented idols, there are also major K-Pop groups showcasing their own musical style, including the likes of DAY6, N.Volare, CNBLUE, STRANGE, LUCIA, XdinaryHeroesand many others.
Yet, a recent announcement on the MAMA Awards 2024 has sparked anger, especially among netizens who are fans of it K bands. It was recently revealed that members of K-pop groups ENIPEN, TXT, AND ZEROBASEON they would have a special “band” collaboration stage where they they gathered to play instruments.

While fans were excited to see a collaboration between the three groups, many netizens were furious that “real” K-Bands were being overlooked and ignored, but Mnet was willing to let regular idols do a collaboration as “band “since there has been an increase in popularity.

Yet, while fans showed their anger towards MOM and Mnet, some fans found it inappropriate for netizens to share anger under a post on ENHYPEN’s fanpage updating fans.

Some fans shared anger over Mnet’s tweet, but the OG post shared on October 29 by the account did not specify that it was a collaboration with a “band.”
