Choa made a heavy confession to fans: she has cervical cancer.
On the night of October 14, the former Crayon Pop member took to his account to reveal the difficulties he is going through.
Titled “Cancer Coming Out,” the celebrity wrote a lengthy post detailing her experience with cancer in her 30s, as well as the tips that came with it.
“That day I was diagnosed with cervical cancer, my legs gave out and I burst into tears until I couldn’t see anymore,” she began.
Choa added that she was cautious in writing her confession, knowing that there are people who “suffer more” than her. Despite this, he decided to write down his experience.
“But now I think sharing my story might be able to provide help and hope to someone, so I decided to talk about it,” she said. “I want to connect and share my journey the same way I received it.”
He went on to say that he has found comfort and support in the cancer community and people who have struggled with the disease.
