YOUNITE’s Hyungseok he suffered a nose injury, sparking concern among fans. The group’s agency confirmed this the idol will have to undergo surgery and suspend activities.

On October 15, BRANDNEW MUSIC, the agency representing YOUNITE, released an official statement on X (formerly Twitter) regarding Hyungseok’s condition.
“Following an examination, the medical team determined that he requires urgent surgery due to a fracture of the nasal bone, with an estimated recovery period of approximately three weeks. As a result, Hyungseok will unfortunately not be able to attend “Dream Concert 2024” scheduled for Saturday 19 October“, reads the statement.
While the extent of his injury was not specified, the agency assured fans that adequate medical care will be provided and that updates on his recovery will follow.
“Hyungseok is dedicated to treatment and recovery, and we will provide updates if his schedule changes“, the agency confirmed. “We apologize for the sudden news and any concern it may cause our fans. We will do our best to support Hyungseok’s quick recovery.”
YOUNITE recently participated in Mnet’s “Road to Kingdom: Ace of Aces” competition, where he competed alongside groups such as 8TURN, CRAVITY, ONEUS, TEMPEST, The CrewOne and TNX. Their performances on the show attracted attention, further solidifying their growing fan base.
Additionally, YOUNITE has been confirmed to perform at Dream concert 2024which will take place on October 19th at 4.30pm KST at Goyang Stadium. This highly anticipated event will feature a star-studded lineup, including NCT WISH, KISS OF LIFE, Kep1er, Dreamcatcher, Choi Ye Naand many others. Leeteuk and Kwon Eun Bi of Super Junior they will act as MCs for the concert.
