Late last month, it was reported that NewJeans’ Hanni had been picked up by Environment and Work Commission of the National Assembly to testify at the status check in October.
The committee passed a resolution Sept. 30 calling for Hanni’s and MOVES‘S Ju Young Kimhis presence. The committee plans to question Hanni about workplace bullying, based on the idol’s claims that he suffered from it.

Her presence wasn’t necessarily mandatory, however, the idol recently confirmed that she would be in attendance.
In a series of messages on the Phonening app, Hanni shared that she planned to go to the National Assembly alone to represent the members and fans, as it was “right.”
