Ahead of the release of their full album, BABYMONSTER further teased MONSTIEZ by revealing their tracklist. And immediately, K-pop fans noticed a monumental name credited as the composer of the debutant’s title song: G-Dragon!

BABYMONSTER’s first full-length album is scheduled for release on November 1st. Contains a total of nine songs: “CLIK CLAK”, “DRIP”, “Love, Maybe”, “Really Like You”, “BILLIONAIRE”, “Love In My Heart”, “Woke Up In Tokyo”, “FOREVER” and “BATTER UP” (Remix).

The title track of the same name is the one where the “K-pop King” is credited as one of the composers, along with Sandra Wikstrom, AiRPLAY and Iljun.

It’s nothing new for G-Dragon to compose a song. In fact, he did it for his group BIGBANG, his solos, co-members and the songs he appeared on.

But it’s rare for him to create songs for other artists, with BABYMONSTER being only the third after 2NE1 and iKON in his entire career.

Meanwhile, BIGBANG will reportedly perform at the upcoming MAMA Awards 2024. According to news agencies, current members G-Dragon, Taeyang and Daesung will make their return to the MAMA stage.

Shortly thereafter, MNET released a statement responding to the announcement.

“The lineup of artists who will participate in the 2024 MAMA Awards has not yet been decided,” the network said.

Attention is now focused on whether the trio will confirm initial rumors and perform for MAMA spectators once again, following their last appearance at the ceremony in 2015.
