It was exciting, to say the least.
In a behind-the-scenes video shared on Netflix Korea YouTube channel, Gyeongseong Creature Season 2 actor Seo Joon Park (or Park Seo Jun) reflected on the emotional kiss scene with co-star actress Han So Hee.
The scene, which turned out to be a single-shot scene, captured Han So Hee’s character as she reunited with Park Seo Joon’s character, highlighting the intense emotions between the two.
Regarding the kiss, Park commented on it “it seemed like both [them] they were the only ones left in the world.”
This was a single take scene. There weren’t many people in the area when we shot this scene. So it really felt like the two of us were the only ones left in the world.

At that comment, director Jung Dong Yoon expressed his satisfaction with how everything turned out.
I wanted it to be a simple scene. I wanted it to be like watching from afar, from Tae Sang’s perspective. I was particularly pleased with the naturalness with which the scene unfolded: from Chae Ok taking off her coat and the two of them hugging. Personally, it turned out to be one of my favorite scenes.

Despite the hard work of the cast and crew, as well as the blockbuster production costs, Gyeongseong Creature Season 2 has yet to see the same fame as the previous season, juxtaposed with a cooking competition show that drove Koreans crazy.
