Famous Webtoon Writer Found Bizarrely Dead in ‘The Dog Knows It All’

In the recent episodes of KBS2’s Wednesday-Thursday drama series “Dog Knows Everything,” which aired on October 2 and 3, actor Ryu Hae-joon appeared as the popular webtoon writer “Park Oe-soo.”

The third and fourth episodes of “Dog Knows Everything” depicted another murder case on Geoje Island. The victim was webcomic writer Park Oe-soo, who was found dead in a large gift box with a decorated ribbon on his head, which shocked viewers.

In fact, Oe-soo was suspicious from the beginning of his first appearance. He seemed to be peeking at Myung-ok (Lee Yoo-jin), who came to the wedding photo shoot, and appeared at every filming location. After seeing this, Seo-jeong (Ye Soo-jung) suspected, “Why are you following the bride? Are you a stalker?” and Oe-soo replied with a sad smile: “You’re a drama writer, aren’t you? I’m a fan of yours.” His death was similar to a bizarre scene in the screenplay “The Bizarre Gift” by writer Seo-jeong, which Oe-soo likes.

As it turned out, Oe-su was obsessed with his ex-girlfriend Myeong-ok, and was killed by Yang Jin-man (played by Ahn Hyun-ho), the current lover who couldn’t stand him. Police dogs Sophie and Lee Soon-jae (played by Lee Soon-jae) played a key role in solving the case.

Actor Ryu Hae-joon naturally portrayed the significant eyes of a character with a secret and his foul-mouthed way of speaking. Although his time on screen was short, Ryu showed his talent by making the most of his character.

Meanwhile, “Dog Knows Everything” airs every Wednesday and Thursday at 9:50 pm (KST).
