After the publication of the behind-the-scenes video, The love next door viewers have become more convinced that the protagonists are… or “definitely should be”—dating in real life!
- “I feel like the real relationship between Jung Hae In and Jung So Min might be like this, so it gives me butterflies in my stomach.”
- “At the beginning of filming this K-Drama, they weren’t like that. But the closer they got, the more similar the sound of their laughter became. Haha. I think it’s funny. I love their visual chemistry, but I also love listening to them laugh together.
- “This video repeats itself… They are like in their own little world. They’re so good together, like… They’re actually dating. They also laugh at the same things…”
- “The way she falls into his arms is crazy… This behind-the-scenes video is sweeter than the episode itself. And this is the first time I’ve seen the K-Drama cast reshoot a kissing scene for promotional material.
- “No way. All the hugging and rubbing? For a scene that isn’t even from the actual episode? It feels too real to not be real, haha. I feel like this is only possible because they’re dating OR because they are both single.”
- “What the hell! The way she fell into his arms and the way he rubbed her back seemed too natural for acting!
Despite the chemistry, the K-Drama received some criticism for the way some episodes and scenes were directed. Read more about backlash The love next door received in the bedroom scene in the same episode:
