Recently one of them even received a Palestinian keffiyeh from a fan.

Since October 2023, at least 41,821 Palestinians, including some 16,500 children, have been killed, according to Al-Jazeera. Over 95,125 people have been injured and over 10,000 are missing in Israel’s war on Gaza, with Palestinians starving, displaced and losing their homes, families and friends. More and more people around the world are becoming more informed about the injustices, expressing solidarity with Palestine. Some are doing so by wearing the Palestinian flag or keffiyeh.

The keffiyeh (or kufiyyeh, also known in Arabic as hattah) is a traditional Arab head covering, and the Palestinian keffiyeh is usually decorated in black and white. The Palestinian keffiyeh has gained popularity among pro-Palestine activists and is often worn as a sign of solidarity.

Historically, it was worn by nomadic communities, the Bedouins, in historic Palestine.
