Boy group HYBE releases new album with shocking sales numbers

A MOVES The boy band shattered their own sales record with their latest album.

BOY NEXTthe group of fifth generation kids under KOZ Entertainmentthey made their comeback with the album 19.99 and the title song “Nice Guy” on September 9, KST.

According to data released by Hanteothe album sold a whopping 609,666 copies on its first day of release. Not only that 19.99 achieved the highest first-day sales of BOYNEXTDOOR’s career so far, even surpassing the entire first-week sales of the group’s last mini-album.

AS?BOYNEXTDOOR’s second EP, was released in April this year and sold approximately 530,000 units during its first week of release. Interestingly, AS? recorded the highest first-day sales by a fifth-generation group on Hanteo up to its release date!

Given the recent concerns about slowing sales of K-Pop artists, BOYNEXTDOOR’s achievement is even more significant as one of the hopeful examples of sustainable K-Pop popularity. Congratulations to the group!
