On July 17, Chinese social media platform Weibo was flooded with claims that another major entertainment star C had quietly become a parent. According to rumors, the actress secretly welcomed her first child, a baby girl, last year through surrogacy. The posts also claimed that the little girl, now over a year old, has inherited her mother’s striking features and is being raised privately in Hong Kong.
Entertainment bloggers also claimed that the child’s father is a wealthy entrepreneur born in the 1980s who reportedly owns several cryptocurrency trading platforms. The unidentified businessman was described as an influential figure in Hong Kong’s elite circles with enormous wealth. Rumors also suggest that, with her support, Fan Bingbing has moved into a luxury villa in Hong Kong’s prestigious Mid-Levels district, an area known for hosting celebrities and high-net-worth residents.
According to Chinese outlet 163, Fan Bingbing’s relationship with the businessman lasted more than two years. Reports stated that during the 2024 Lunar New Year celebrations, the actress took her parents to Hong Kong, where they met her boyfriend and celebrated together aboard a luxury yacht. Reports also stated that Fan has intentionally kept the relationship out of the public eye, even asking close friends not to mention his partner to the media because he believes maintaining privacy would help the relationship last.
Despite widespread rumors that she secretly welcomed a daughter, Fan Bingbing has not commented on the claims. The actress has addressed pregnancy and childbirth rumors numerous times in the past, many of which were later debunked.
