Cecilia Cheung reveals she suffers from severe anemia and talks about her ongoing health struggles

In a video uploaded on July 10, Cecilia Cheung shared that medical test results confirmed that she was suffering from severe anemia. She explained that her manager bought her iron supplements, which she now takes three times a day.

“I hope they help me cure my anemia,” Cheung said in the video. She also checked her temperature with a thermometer, explaining that although her fever had broken, she still felt exhausted. Fans responded with wishing her a speedy recovery and encouraging her to get plenty of rest.

Previously, during an event in Beijing, Cheung revealed that she went on stage despite having a fever above 39°C. After completing the event, she immediately returned to Hong Kong, fell asleep immediately, and only started to feel better after waking up.

According to a source, Cheung has been juggling a demanding schedule while raising her three children. Despite his busy family life, he continues to participate in numerous promotional events and public appearances, which have reportedly taken a toll on his health.

She then used a hairdryer to blow hot air around his neck and head to keep him warm. Thanks to her careful care, Marcus fell asleep comfortably and woke up feeling much better.

Born in 1980, Cecilia Cheung rose to fame through films including The lion roars, King of comedyAND The promise. She married actor Nicholas Tse in 2006 after an on-and-off relationship. The couple had two sons, Lucas (born 2007) and Quintus (born 2010), before divorcing.
