Nearly two decades into their career, the veteran trio of Lee Honggi, Lee Jaejin and Choi Minhwan still remain one of K-POP’s strongest rock groups, offering powerful vocals and an undeniable stage presence.

The evening began unconventionally with a mysterious hooded figure (later revealed to be member Lee Honggi) walking through the audience, building anticipation from the start. “Satisfaction”, “Hourglass” and “Sage” soon followed, as the band reunited with Singapore’s Primadonnas after more than two years of waiting. Explaining the hidden thought behind the FaTe tarot concept, Honggi mentioned how the cards represented different messages they wanted to convey through this concert.

Beyond the carefully curated lineup of performances, the evening was also filled with playful banter and heartfelt interactions. The audience’s familiarity with the Korean language allowed conversations to flow naturally, reflecting the strong connection and comfort built between FTISLAND and their fans. Fans held up star-shaped lights throughout the show, creating a sea of bright stars, adding to the warm atmosphere. Honggi also shared that he could feel the warmth and energy of the audience that night, jokingly requesting that the air conditioning be turned all the way up in the venue. It was evident and refreshing to see fans fully enjoying themselves, singing along whenever they could and enthusiastically headbanging to the band’s powerful performances.

To slow things down, the band brought out some chairs for a more intimate and cozy segment. They shared that they specially rearranged some of their older songs for fans who were attending their concert for the first time. Songs like “Love Love Love,” “Thunder,” “Cloud” and “Rising Star” were featured, offering a fresh take on beloved classics.

To create memorable interactions with the audience, Honggi would often move between audience seats and jokingly invite some fans to join him as he ran through the crowd. When two fans accidentally fell during the excitement, he immediately checked on them to make sure they were okay and even offered each of them a banana as a sweet and thoughtful gesture.

The evening soon came to an end, but without forgetting the fans’ heartfelt surprise of the banner reading “We met as if we were destined, and it’s fate that we will be together until the end”, followed by a champagne and cake celebration to commemorate FTISLAND’s 19th anniversary. Honggi shared that the direction behind the concert was to embrace both their new and older songs as part of a complete journey, noting that “they’re all our songs.” They hoped to create an unforgettable experience for fans, while also giving those who may not be familiar with their Japanese songs the opportunity to discover and appreciate another side of FTISLAND’s music. He also added that he has recently explored more English songs, demonstrating the band’s continued growth.

Some closing words from the band members:

Jaejin: “It’s been a while since we last came back, and we saw how you all sang so well. So I was really shocked. Even during the last two and a half years, we couldn’t come to see you. It seems like you are diligently listening to us and cheering for us, so it made me happy. With all the good energy I received today, not only because of the end of the Fate (tour), but since next year is also our 20th anniversary, for please look forward to us because we will.” create much more interesting songs and performances for you in the future.”

Honggi: “We are also looking forward to the 20th anniversary coming up, and we have a lot of plans in our heads at the moment on how to do it. Although we are worried whether we will be able to pull it off, we are trying to make a 20th anniversary album and concert. It seems that for the 20th anniversary concert, we might do it in Korea, exactly one year later, in June. We will probably only hold it in Korea. If you are available, please stop by to have fun with us.”
