Lee So Ra has officially begun his long-awaited return to music by unveiling the teaser for his upcoming single, “Forget Your Face (Summer Breeze),” marking his first official comeback in nearly seven years.
The teaser video was released across Lee So Ra’s official social media channels at midnight on July 3 and quickly attracted the attention of fans eager to hear his voice again.
Known for her emotional singing style and calm stage presence, the veteran singer immediately reminded listeners why she remains one of Korea’s most respected singers.
The short teaser opens with Lee So Ra slowly appearing through thick fog and smoke. Sitting alone on a wooden chair while holding a microphone, she creates a quiet yet emotional atmosphere, AllKPop reported. Soft lights surround her as she performs with her eyes delicately closed, wearing an ivory blouse and long black skirt that add to the elegant vibe.
Although only a small portion of the song was revealed, fans responded strongly to the emotional sound of the track. Lee So Ra’s soft yet powerful voice blends with dreamy melodies and rich string instruments, leaving a lasting impression in seconds.
The teaser ends with her silhouette fading into darkness before the song’s title appears on screen, building anticipation for the full release.
Lee So Ra shares a heartfelt message
The upcoming single is especially significant because it marks Lee So Ra’s first solo release since “Request Song,” her 2019 collaboration with BTS’ SUGA. That song performed well on music charts both in Korea and abroad.
Since then, Lee So Ra has mainly participated in drama soundtrack projects while staying away from major solo promotions. His return with a new single under his own name has become one of the most talked about musical comebacks of this year.
Through his agency, Mareum Entertainment, Lee So Ra shared a heartfelt message ahead of the release. He said: “It’s been a long time since my last release and I hope a lot of people will listen to it.” He also thanked fans who have been waiting for his music and promised to continue singing more actively in the future, according to The Chosun.
Lee So Ra first debuted in the early 1990s and later built a successful solo career with hit songs including “The Wind Is Blowing”, “Please”, “Proposal”, “Just Like the First Feeling” and “I Am Happy”.
