BABYMONSTER officially kicked off their WORLD TOUR with their first concert in Seoul, marking a major milestone three years after their debut. While each member impressed with their solo stages, Pharita quickly became one of the biggest talking points of the evening thanks to her breathtaking visuals and significantly improved performance.
For her solo stage, Pharita performed a cover of Nicki Minaj’s “Super Bass.” Wearing a sparkling sequin dress and soft pink makeup, the Thai idol received praise for her flawless appearance under the stage lights.
Fans’ close-up shots highlighted her delicate features, glowing complexion, large eyes and elegant aura, prompting fans to compare her to a “living doll” and a “Disney Princess in Real Life.” Many even called him the best he’s seen since debut.
Since her debut, Pharita has been recognized as one of the most striking images of the fifth generation K-pop scene. However, this concert saw fans focusing not only on her beauty but also her stage presence.

In 2024, Pharita faced criticism after some viewers claimed that she lacked energy during BABYMONSTER fan meetings in Japan. Viral comparison clips led to accusations that her dancing seemed less powerful than that of her colleagues, though fans defended her by pointing out that she completed every move of the choreography and speculated that health issues may have limited some head movements. Her voice has also drawn mixed reactions in the past, with some believing that her soft, airy tone lacks the power of members like Ahyeon and Rami.

During the current world tour, many fans believe that Pharita has shown significant improvements. Her live voice sounds more stable, her breath control has become stronger, and her dancing appears noticeably more confident and energetic while maintaining her signature graceful style. As a result, her solo performance has been widely seen as evidence of her artistic growth, and many say that she is no longer known just for her visuals, but has become a well-rounded artist.

Born in 2005 in Thailand, Pharita Chaikong joined YG Entertainment in late 2020 after passing highly competitive auditions and trained for about two years before debuting with BABYMONSTER. Before becoming an idol, she worked as a child model, displaying her natural poise from a young age.

Pharita is also known for her close friendship with BLACKPINK’s Lisa. Lisa previously revealed that she took Pharita and fellow Thai Chiquita out to eat and shop because she saw herself as younger in the interns. Pharita has often named Lisa as her biggest inspiration for pursuing an idol career.
With her continually improving visual and performing skills, fans believe Pharita is on her way to becoming one of BABYMONSTER’s breakout stars.
