On July 1, Woojin shared an update through LNGSHOT’s official social media accounts, explaining the reason for his temporary recovery period.
He revealed that his right shoulder had been subject to repeated dislocations for a long time. However, as the promotional activities became more physically demanding, the discomfort worsened, prompting him to go to hospital for a thorough examination.
According to Woojin, doctors found that both the shoulder joint and its ligaments had suffered severe injuries, making surgery inevitable.
Fortunately, the singer said he is still able to carry out normal daily activities. However, medical staff advised him to avoid strenuous movements for the time being and to focus on rest and rehabilitation to ensure a full recovery.
Despite the setback, Woojin assured fans that he intends to remain active whenever his condition allows.
“I will focus on recovery as much as possible while participating in the activities. Please don’t worry too much. I love you all,” he wrote, expressing gratitude for the fans’ continued support.
LNGSHOT officially debuted in January as a four-member boy band produced by Jay Park, attracting attention even before their debut due to the artist’s involvement in the project.
The group has continued to maintain a busy schedule since their debut, including the release of their second mixtape in May, and Woojin’s announcement has sparked an outpouring of well-wishes from fans hoping for his speedy recovery.
