Girls’ Generation member Tiffany Young gave viewers a closer look at her passionate daily routine during her appearance on MBC’s Omniscient Interfering View, which aired on June 27.
During the show, Tiffany spoke about having suffered from vocal cord nodules twice in the past and revealed that she started her day with a visit to an ENT clinic to check on the condition of her vocal cords. She explained: “I go to the ENT clinic every two weeks, just like people go to a dermatologist regularly.” During the exam, he carefully monitored the movement of his vocal muscles and continued to ask his doctor detailed questions.
Tiffany also said that over the years she has personally studied the structure of the vocal cords, muscles and blood vessels. She explained that her interest in anatomy stems from growing up in a family with a strong medical background, including an older sister who majored in biology and a maternal grandfather who worked as a doctor. The show also featured footage from rehearsals for the musical Yumi’s Cells. Playing the lead role of Yumi, Tiffany arrived at the rehearsal room before anyone else to warm up. Tiffany also shared a touching story about her husband, actor Byun Yo Han, who sent a coffee truck to the rehearsal site to encourage her as she tried her hand at a new acting role.
Additionally, Tiffany explained why she suddenly left Girls’ Generation activities years ago to study in the United States. She explained that she temporarily stepped away from her career to attend acting school, where she auditioned for numerous film and television projects.
