The fan, who goes by the name Tricia The Angel, explained that she attended the event specifically to support Choi Woo Shik. She reportedly brought several posters and other items showing her support and believed she was one of the few people gathered primarily for the actor.
However, according to his account, Choi Woo Shik signed objects and interacted with several people nearby as he walked past them without responding.
In the video the fan is heard repeatedly asking the actor: “Please,” as he moved through the crowd. She later uploaded a longer video to show the entire interaction, claiming that Choi Woo Shik appeared to be looking in her direction but still didn’t approach her. The experience left her hurt and wondering why she was seemingly left out.
The fan raised several possible explanations, including racism and class discrimination. Her videos quickly attracted attention on TikTok and X, where some users accused the actor of deliberately ignoring her despite acknowledging other fans.
Criticism also spread to the comments section of Choi Woo Shik’s Instagram account, with users demanding explanations for what happened during the event. While the fan’s disappointment is clearly visible, the footage alone does not prove why Choi Woo Shik did not interact with her.
