Kiss of Life (KIOF) just made a suuupeerrrr performance that made both KISSY and “One Piece” fans scream at the unexpected crossover.

At the 2024 Fact Music Awards (TMA), KIOF paid homage to the legendary anime by incorporating “One Piece” references into their dance routines: from Natty playing the beloved Straw Hat captain Luffy and doing his Gear 2 pose, to Haneul dressing up as Zoro, to Julie donning Nami’s sawfish tattoo, to Belle being charming as Sanji, to their backup dancers dressing up as Marines, and so much more!

KIOF’s performance began with Natty appearing at the top of the stairs wearing a straw hat, while the iconic “One Piece” theme song “Overtaken” played in the background, evoking nostalgia.
And what’s more? The much-loved Merry Go was also on a big screen behind the girls as they performed “Sticky,” the group’s July release.

It’s no surprise to K-pop fans that their idols like anime, or dress up as anime characters for a special occasion like Halloween, or sing along to the official theme song of a series.
However, this is the first time that a K-pop group has fully embodied an anime series, with multiple references in one stunning performance for a large-scale awards show.
