OH MY GIRL’s long-awaited comeback has been officially postponed until next year.
On June 22, the group’s agency, WM Entertainment, released an official statement through its social media accounts, apologizing to fans for the lack of updates regarding the group OH MY GIRL’s activities and concerts during the first half of the year. The company also confirmed that the group’s full return has been postponed to 2027.
The agency explained “All six members share the same commitment to continuing together as OH MY GIRL. However, during the album production process, it took us longer than expected to carefully collect and select music that met our standards. As a result, we determined that it would be difficult to proceed according to the original schedule.”
WM Entertainment continues, “We sincerely apologize for not providing clear guidance to fans during this process, which caused confusion. We deeply regret not communicating more transparently.”
The company emphasized that the members value their relationship with fans above all and are working hard to present their best.
“Members appreciate every opportunity to meet their fans and want to show the proudest and most refined version of OH MY GIRL,” we read in the press release. “They are currently preparing a new album as a group. As this marks a long-awaited return, they are focusing on creating the highest quality music and performances. The goal is now to release the album in the first half of next year.”

The agency added that both the company and the artists will do their best to reward fans’ patience with a stronger and more refined comeback.
WM Entertainment also revealed plans for individual members’ activities later this year.
“Members’ solo album promotions are scheduled for the second half of this year,” the company said. “We ask for your continued support and warm encouragement as OH MY GIRL and their fans continue this journey together.”
Furthermore, the agency announced measures to compensate fans affected by the delay in the return. The validity period of the “OH MY GIRL GLOBAL OFFICIAL FANCLUB Miracle 6th” subscription, originally scheduled to expire on March 18, 2027, will be extended so that fans can continue to enjoy the benefits of the subscription without inconvenience.

The statement concluded with another apology to fans, saying: “We sincerely regret making fans wait for so long. Moving forward, we promise to communicate in a more responsible and timely manner to rebuild trust.”
OH MY GIRL, now a six-member girl group with more than a decade in the industry, previously announced plans for a full-group comeback focused on a new album and concert activities earlier this year. Fans will now have to wait a little longer, but the group promises that the delay will result in a fuller and more memorable return.
