Former T-ara member Soyeon has earned praise for standing by her husband, footballer Cho Yu Min, during one of the most difficult moments of his career.
The singer married Cho Yu Min, who is nine years younger than her, in 2022. Born in 1996, Cho currently plays for Sharjah FC and was selected for the South Korean national team for the 2026 FIFA World Cup. However, on May 31, he suffered an injury during a friendly match against Trinidad and Tobago, a few weeks before the start of the tournament.
The setback forced Cho Yu Min to withdraw from the national team and return to South Korea, ending his World Cup dream before the competition even began.
