Epik High’s Tablo shares a heartwarming dad moment as he talks about his daughter Haru

Epik High member Tablo gave fans a sweet glimpse into his life as a father after sharing a heartfelt comment about his daughter Haru during a recent YouTube video.

The touching moment appeared in a video titled “Korean Convenience Store RECIPE BATTLE,” which was uploaded to Epik High’s YouTube channel on June 18.

In the episode, Tablo and fellow members Mithra and Tukutz showcased their favorite food combinations at convenience stores while joking with each other.

The conversation took a heartwarming turn when Tablo showed off a carb-flavored spicy chicken ramen. His bandmates immediately made fun of him, joking that the food was “for kids” and calling him a “spicy moron.” The playful comments brought laughter from the group.

According to Koreaboo, without missing a beat, Tablo responded, “I eat it with my little girl, Haru,” naturally mentioning his daughter during the conversation.

His comment surprised Tukutz, who asked him if he still referred to Haru as a child. Mithra quickly intervened, saying that Haru was indeed a child. Tablo then shared a line that resonated with many parents.

“She will be my baby for life,” Tablo said.

Haru’s growing success impresses fans

The moment became even funnier when Tukutz pointed out that Haru might not have agreed with that description. Laughing, Tablo admitted, “He hates it,” making for one of the video’s most memorable exchanges, KPopHit reported.

The warm father-daughter story quickly caught the attention of fans who have watched Haru grow over the years.

Tablo and actress Kang Hye Jung married in 2009 and welcomed Haru shortly after. The family later gained widespread popularity through the KBS2 television program The Return of Superman in 2013, where viewers saw Haru’s bright personality and close relationship with his parents.

Now 16, Haru has developed an impressive list of accomplishments. Fluent in English, he is currently preparing for major US college entrance exams, including the SAT and AP tests.

In addition to academics, Haru has also gained recognition for his creative talent. He previously co-wrote the lyrics with his father for the song To Me From Me by KiiiKiii and helped translate the subtitles for the film Nirvana the Band.

Most recently, Haru gained attention in the K-pop industry after becoming the sole lyricist for “Do Your Dance,” the title track of RIIZE’s latest mini-album.
