NewJeans is once again at the center of industry buzz, as analysts predict the group could return to the music scene before October, despite continued uncertainty over their lineup and future activities.
According to a recent entertainment market report released on June 10 by Hana Securities analyst Lee Ki Hoon, NewJeans has been identified as one of the key performers expected to influence HYBE’s future business performance. The analyst suggested that the group could potentially resume operations within the next few months, possibly in a new format.
Lee predicted that the NewJeans could return as a four-member team by October, describing the possibility as highly likely. He also noted that, as one of the most influential fourth-generation K-pop groups, the group’s eventual return could play a significant role in boosting HYBE’s overall momentum.
However, neither HYBE nor ADOR have officially confirmed any plans regarding NewJeans’ next release, including the timing, concept, or participating members.
Recent reports linked to ADOR indicated only that members were involved in pre-production work in Copenhagen. Some sources said select members took part in the recording sessions, but uncertainty over the group’s full lineup continues to fuel speculation, especially amid questions about individual contract situations and future participation.

Beyond comeback discussions, the report also painted a broader picture of HYBE’s long-term growth strategy. Analysts predict that many of the company’s top artists, including NewJeans, could contribute more revenue from global touring by 2028 as the entertainment market stabilizes and expands.
The projection estimates that large-scale tours by artists such as SEVENTEEN, NewJeans, KATSEYE and other HYBE-affiliated artists could potentially generate hundreds of billions of won in additional revenue in the coming years.
Despite growing speculation, industry watchers stress that these predictions remain predictions and not confirmed plans. For now, fans are still waiting for an official announcement on when and in what form the NewJeans will make their long-awaited return.
