Jennie is planning to return to the music scene as a solo artist after signing a deal with a record label.

On September 9, ODD ATELIER announced that the BLACKPINK member had signed a partnership deal with popular American label Columbia Records. ODD ATELIER announced that Jennie would be releasing a new single in October.

Jennie’s return in October will mark her first solo musical content since “You & Me,” which was released on October 6, 2023.
