In the May 26th episode of the web variety show Jae Suk’s B&B Rules!cast members came together and shared honest stories about their personal struggles and experiences. During the episode, Ji Ye Eun gained attention after she spoke openly about the difficult period she faced due to her deteriorating health.
While preparing food at the camp, Yoo Jae Suk carefully told her: “Thankfully, you’re fully recovered now. People probably wouldn’t even notice anymore.”
Ji Ye Eun replied, “It’s true. I’m much better now” before adding, “I’ve recovered a lot. I’m really grateful.”
He then revealed the severity of his condition at the time, saying: “They told me that even if it’s only 0.1cm, it can still spread. In my case, they said there were quite a few tumors, so I’m really grateful that things went well.”
Later, during the bonfire session, Ji Ye Eun became emotional and was seen silently wiping away her tears after Yoo Jae Suk told the attendees, “You can throw away into this fire all the things you want to let go of, and also make wishes for the things you hope for.”
The other cast members comforted her by asking: “Why are you crying?” AND “Please don’t cry.” Yoo Jae Suk then explained: “As many of you already know from the articles, Ye Eun was ill. Thankfully, she recovered her health and was able to join us here today.”
Meanwhile, Ji Ye Eun had already taken a temporary break from activities last year due to worsening health conditions. At the moment, reports stated that his breakdown was related to hypothyroidismbut his agency responded with caution, stating that it was difficult to confirm because it involved private medical information.
